I don’t take money or freebie samples or review products from suppliers, retailers or anyone else connected with the making, processing or marketing of food and drink. I am not being particularly noble, it is just that I don’t ever get asked and I don’t go seeking this, my blog is not aimed at making me money in this way. You might see some ads, but that is not in my control, I have a free wordpress.com account and that means wordpress do place some ads in my content for which they receive any click-through revenue, not me. It’s pennies anyway, so who cares?
But, how could anyone, any reader ever verify that what I say is genuine and sincere? Could my blog not be about covert product placement? A clever ploy? Well, please trawl through my posts, you will see me equally praising and damning I think, and while I do mention places and products quite a lot, it is because I do shop and cook and this is my reality.
